On behalf of the Icelandic Geotechnical Society it is
a pleasure to invite you to attend the 17th Nordic
Geotechnical Meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland
25th – 28th of May 2016.
The aim of the conference is to strengthen the relationships between practicing engineers, researchers and
scientists within the fields of geotechnics and engineering
geology with special emphasis on the Nordic region.
All are invited to share their experience and knowledge
with their Nordic colleagues.

The conference venue is HARPA – the new
Reykjavík Concert Hall and Conference Centre,
located at the harbour with a view to mount Esja.
The harbor is at the center of town so attendees
should be able to enjoy Reykjavik to the fullest.
Possibly, you can listen to some famous artist in
Eldborg, the main hall in Harpa, during your stay.

The SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
Lectures and papers
The conference will include invited lectures and
presentation of submitted papers, divided in multiple
sessions. Submitted papers will have the possibility of
being presented in a session or on poster in the exhibition
area.

Abstracts, papers and proceedings
We invite you to submit an abstract(s), no more than
300 words for review. Abstracts must be submitted
online before June 1st 2015. A link to online submission
