This takes place every Wednesday. Children should
come to school in their PE kits and will remain in them
all day. Please ensure children have the right PE kit,
including appropriate footwear.
Summer 1
Science: Sound and Hearing –
Investigating how sound travels, how we hear and
different types of sounds.
Geography: Comparing Britain and Kenya –
Comparing the jobs, land, food, school and clothes.
D.T: Design, Make and Evaluate a planet or alien.
Computing: Coding –
Using Espresso to create codes.
Summer 2
Science: Growing Plants Observing a growing plant, understanding how plants
grow.
History: History of Wembley Looking at how the area of Wembley has changed over
time.
Art: Observational Drawing –
Looking at objects and landscapes and recreating these.

Literacy and Maths: Homework is set to consolidate learning done in class in both subjects.
High Frequency Words: 10 will be sent home per week to learn.
Reading: Should be done daily, please discuss books while reading.
Homework is set on Friday’s and is expected to be returned by Wednesday.
