Stratus and Shanghai Hi-tech Define the Next Generation of Alwayson Solutions for Industrial Automation in China
New OEM Agreement takes Stratus and Shanghai Hi-tech partnership to a new level
Maynard, Mass. and Shanghai, China, February 18, 2015 – Stratus Technologies, Inc., the leading
provider of availability solutions and Shanghai Hi-tech Control System Co., Ltd. (HITE), today announced
the expansion of their strategic partnership.
The announcement continues a ten year successful partnership between the two companies. Under the
terms of the agreement HITE will OEM Stratus’ next generation software solution, everRun Express, to
deliver highly available servers to the Chinese market under the brand name of H&i Server. This comes at
a time when the explosion of auto ownership is driving the need for significant investments in always-on
transportation infrastructure across the country.
