Winter Holiday Home Work and Assignment (2016 – 2017) Class -VI 1. Parent Teacher Meeting will be held on January 20, 2017 (3 PM – 4 PM) 2.The school closes for winter vacation from December 21, 2016 and reopens on January 20, 2017. 3. Attendance on first day after reopening is compulsory. 4. Perform Hawan at your home daily along with the other members of your family and neighbours. 5. Utilize your winter vacation constructively. Read good books/English newspaper daily. Obey your parents & help them. Be in touch with your subjects. Learn 5 new words with meaning daily. 6. All winter assignments should be done in assignment copy. 7. Submit the winter assignments to the concerned subject teacher on January 21, 2017 positively. Incomplete work, late submission or non-submission will incur loss of grades/marks. 8. The assignment will be graded for formative assessments/final promotion. 9. A class test will compulsorily be conducted on the basis of Holiday Assignment of each subject from 28/1/2017 and marks will also be added in FA 4. English Write one hundred forms of verbs (PV1, PV2 & PV3) with Hindi meaning and make at least one sentence from each form of verb. Make at least ten sentences taking different noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, conjunction and preposition each. (Help: Do on A4 sheet and pin the pages into a plastic file. You can take help from English grammar book or internet or printed verb forms sheet given by your teacher or any teacher etc.) Read five stories of your choice and find out ten nouns and classify them.
