DUK 3: True Type Fonts Converted for Impulse Jet
Did you know that a font conversion program is now included in IJ3000 software for converting
True Type Fonts to use with Impulse Jet systems? True Type Fonts are typically requested by
customers for use in promoting brand consciousness or for display packaging. Custom fonts for
the IJ3000 were previously made available to customers for a nominal fee with an extended lead
time. The font conversion program automates, simplifies and shortens the process and is now a
standard capability included in the IJ3000 PC software. This makes the wide list of TTF’s
available for easy conversion to the style and size font desired for immediate use.
The font converter program runs on a PC and is
included as part of the normal IJ Demo Software
installation process. The program is simple, easy to
use and includes
instructions. The
program will
convert all True
Type fonts
available on the
PC it is installed
to. The user
selects the
desired font from
the available list
of TTF’s and specifies the size. A name is entered for the
converted font. The font is created. It’s that simple.
Converted TTFs are automatically placed in the proper
program folder for use by the IJ3000 PC demo software.
When the IJ3000 demo software is run the newly converted
font(s) appear in the font selection list and are available for
use as are any pre-installed fonts on the IJ3000 PC software.
Fonts can be transferred from the PC to the IJ3000 controller
via Ethernet or USB
thumb drive to be
used with the
impulse jet system.
