ISO 17025 accredited SUPREMERUNTM
ISO 17025 is an important international
analytical standard used by testing and
calibration laboratories. Since 2012, GATC
Biotech has expanded the range of its
ISO 17025 certified sequencing platforms,
demonstrating an outstanding track record in
high quality molecular testing. The accreditation
now covers our SUPREMERUN tube | ISO
17025 service, which complements the regular
SUPREMERUN tube for an additional fee by
offering Sanger sequencing with enhanced
quality controls.
General considerations
SUPREMERUN tube | ISO 17025 order must be applied to
an entire WatchBox, rather than to individual jobs. A separate
invoice is issued for the SUPREMERUN tube | ISO 17025 service.
SUPREMERUN tube | ISO 17025 service offers two possible
sequencing reactions per DNA. Primer synthesis and use of
customer’s own primers are possible, as long as the primer
sequence is pre-defined and fits to the requirements. For
legal purposes, it is necessary that the customer specifically
authorises the use of the primers. According to the service
guidelines, only purified DNA can be accepted as starting
material.

Please send the DNA dissolved in water without EDTA or
any dyes.
DNA and primers should be delivered in 1.5 ml reaction tubes.
Primer
The melting temperature (TM) of the primer should be
between 52°and 58°C and the length should be between
17-19bp. Ideally, the GC content of an 17mer should be
10 G+C; for an 18mer 8-9G+C and for a 19mer 7-9 G+C.
G or C should be at the 3’ end, but not more than 3 Gs
or Cs. The primer sequence should be a good mixture of
all 4 nucleotides with no more than 4 identical bases in a
row (AAAA or GGGG).

17025 service does not allow for storage and repeated trials, the
NightXpress service, or accommodation of custom preferences.
Should sample processing fail at the initial DNA quality control
step or elsewhere, the order will be terminated and the additional
service fee will still be charged. A new order is required before
any further attempts.
