GUIDELINESFORORALPRESENTATIONS
Please pay careful attention to these guidelines which are intended to assist you by providing all
instructionsyoumayneed.
PleaseinformtheEANMOfficeimmediatelyofanychangesintitle,presenterormailingaddress.
Allow ample time between your arrival and the time of presentation. The programme is tightly
scheduledanditisimpossibletodelaypresentationofanyscientificpaper.
Uponarrivalatthecongresscentre,pleasecheckwhetheranychangesindate,timeorhallofyour
presentationhavepossiblyoccurred.
REPORT All presentations have to be held in English. Do not cover too many details. Apportion your
messageappropriately.Discussonlythemajorpointsofyourwork,supportedbytheconclusions
drawn from your data. Remember that you have to communicate with the audience in a limited
time. A rushed presentation is of no use to the audience and your reputation. If you exceed the
allottedtime,thesessionchairpersonwillbeforcedtoterminateyourpresentation.
PRESENTATION Identifyyourselftothesessionchairperson10minutesbeforethesession.Followtheinstructions
of the chairperson strictly, especially regarding the time allotted for your talk. Speak directly into
themicrophoneinanormalvoiceanddonothandlethemicrophone.
POWERPOINTPRESENTATIONS
Anylaptop/computerpresentationshavetobeinstalledontheserveroftheCongressCentreand
will be “transferred” to the respective room of the presentation. NO private computers will be
allowedtobeusedforthesessions.PreviewofthepresentationispossibleintheSpeakerPreview
Room.
PREPARATIONOFYOURPRESENTATION
-KeepdataoneachPowerPointslidesimple(betterdivideitintoseveralslidesthantocrowdone).
-Uselarge,legibleletters.
-Keeppicturesofradiographslight(darkslidesprojectpoorlyinalargeauditorium).
-Colorisattractiveondataslidesbutuselightcolorsonly.
-Whitelettersonblackbackgroundarebetterthanblackonwhite.
-Patientconfidentialitymustbeprotected.
-Avoidcommercialreference.Advertisingofproductsisprohibited.
-Incaseyoubringyour*.pptpresentationonaCD-Romand/oraUSBstickpleaseensurethatall
dataisontheCD-Rom(e.g.embeddedvideofiles,extrafonts,specialgraphs/drawings/pictures).
SPEAKERPREVIEWROOM ThegeneralorganisationoftheSpeakerPreviewRoomfortransferring,changingandpreviewingof
yourpresentationisdonewithspecialstaffintheSpeakerPreviewRoom.Presentationspertaining
to a lecture have to be deposited by the presenter in the Speaker Preview Room at least 1 hour
before commencement of the session. The speaker has to load the presentation onto the server
since all files are transferred to the relevant lecture hall via the internal network. Only trained
personnelwillhandleyourpresentation.

e-POSTERUPLOADSPECIFICATIONS - Documentuploads:pleasecopy-pastetextfields(nouploadofcomplete.pdf,.ppt,.doc,etc.)
- Videouploads:.mpg,.mpeg,.avi,.mov,.divx,.mkv,.flv,.mp4,.rm,.amv,.wmvareallowed(will
beconvertedto.flv).
- Image uploads: All image types (except vector formats) are allowed (will be converted into
.png).
- Minimumsizeforimages:300x300px
- Maximumfilesize:20MB
e-POSTERUPLOADDEADLINE
Alle-PostershavetobeuploadednolaterthanSeptember30,2017,17:00CET.Linkforuploadwill
beannouncedinaseparatemailingandiscommunicatedalsoonline(http://eanm17.eanm.org).ePostersthathavenotbeenuploadedbythisdeadlinewillbeconsideredaswithdrawn.

e-POSTERPRESENTATION All uploaded e-Posters will be available to the congress participants within the e-Poster Areas
onsite where they can be looked up on provided computers during the exhibition days of the
congress.
Inaddition,alluploadede-Posterswillbemadeavailableatthee-LearningPlatformofEANM.
CLAIMS EANM and the Exhibition venue are free from all liabilities which may arise from the e-Poster
presenter’sparticipationinEANManditsactivities.
