Meetings Standards and Expectations in the Water Industry
Irish Water, in collaboration with local authorities, continues to make progress in meeting
standards and expectations in the delivery of water services in a regulated environment. The
water industry in Ireland must now meet increasing demands for water services arising from
population growth and economic development while ensuring the delivery of safe and
reliable water supplies and providing additional capacity as well as meeting environmental
obligations for waste water discharges. The WSTG Annual Conference continues to provide
a forum for discussion of topical issues for representatives of all stakeholders involved in the
water industry.
