All survey respondents must be in their first semester of studies at Georgian College to be eligible to win
a prize and be in active student status at the time the prize is awarded.
A total of eleven (11) prizes are available to be won by survey respondents: one grand prize and 10
secondary prizes.
The grand prize will be awarded to one respondent who completed one or both of the GPS surveys in
the Winter 2017 semester. The grand prize consists of $1,500 to be applied towards the Summer 2017
semester’s tuition and will be awarded according to a computer-generated random selection process.
Five secondary prizes will be awarded to respondents who completed the first GPS survey administered;
a further five secondary prizes will be awarded to respondents who completed the second GPS survey.
Each secondary prize consists of a $50 gift card to Georgian Stores and will be awarded according to a
computer-generated random selection process.
The grand prize and all secondary prize draws will occur on or about Friday, April 7, 2017. The odds of
winning depend on the number of eligible submissions received.
The student who has been randomly selected to be awarded the grand prize will have the prize amount
credited to his or her Georgian College account on Day 10 of the Summer 2017 Semester provided he
or she is in an active student status at that time at Georgian College. Prizes must be accepted as
awarded; no substitutions will be made. Those students who have been randomly selected to be
awarded a prize will be contacted through his or her Georgian email address. If a student cannot be
contacted within seven (7) days, he or she will be deemed no longer eligible to win, another will be
drawn and the process of contacting the new participant will be repeated. No communication will be
entered into except with the selected participant. Any student whose name is selected who is
determined to be not currently in an active student status will be disqualified. Any student whose name
is selected who is determined to be not a first semester student will be disqualified.
