Inserted into the spectrometer’s cell holder, it expands the capabilities of the spectrometer by enabling fluorimetric examinations of samples at volumes of only 2 µl. Due to this, a breakdown, or reconstruction of the unit, is not required. Patent Pending High Precision in Spectro-Optics Sample New // Functional principle The Fluorescence TrayCell can be inserted into the cuvette holder like a standard cuvette and can be fitted to the height of the light beam by using adapters. By way of the Fluorescence TrayCells optical elements, the excitation light is channelled directly onto the sample drop with high efficiency. Through the mirror inside the lid, the fluorescent light, emitted in every spatial direction, is then collected in large numbers and lead to detection.
