Dear Passengers,
What is a Rav-Kav?
The public transportation system in the Haifa and the North Metropolitan
Area is constantly moving forward and introducing improvements to benefit
the passengers.
A Rav-Kav is a smart electronic card that can be charged with travel
arrangements to various destinations, and for all of the public
transportation providers in Israel. Using the Rav-Kav for their travel
needs allows passengers to receive all the discounts they are entitled
to by law.
Public transportation users in the Haifa and the North Metropolitan Area
enjoy an efficient, advanced, comfortable, convenient and cutting edge
public transportation system.
In order to make things easier for passengers and as part of the ongoing
service improvement process, the services provided by the Rav-Kav card
and its possible uses will be enhanced. This booklet provides information
concerning the Rav-Kav and the ways in which it may be used.
Why should I use a Rav-Kav?
• It can be charged in advance with multiple travel arrangements
• It is suitable for any kind of trip
• It is accepted by all public transportation providers in Israel
• It allows discounts on a number of travel arrangements
