As a tribute to SafeWorks’ construction equipment
product line, this year’s month-long food drive concluded
with ‘Canstruction’ – a friendly competition among department teams to construct structures
using the donated food items. A replica of the U.S. Treasury building, a nutrition pyramid, a
22-ft long train complete with caboose, and super hero ‘Captain Cody Strikes Out at Hunger’
highlighted the competition.

“November is traditionally a time to reflect on the freedoms and blessings that are abundant in
our lives,” said Kim McCall, Human Resource Manager. “It is also an ideal opportunity to
help those in our midst who are less fortunate. Our team showed genuine enthusiasm and
generosity throughout this annual campaign to help Northwest Harvest feed those in our
community. Our employees have demonstrated how a small team of people can make a big
impact, and it is our hope that other organizations will continue to do the same.”
