Solution Consultant
LOCATION: INDIANAPOLIS
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES:














Present Emarsys solutions in the pre-sales phase
Provide technical consultation on various aspects of solutions
Validate customer’s technical design and solution and recommend Emarsys products to support solution
Develop customized presentations, demonstrations to prove the solution’s business value to the client.
Assist clients in transferring knowledge to ensure successful use of the solution.
Conduct solutions testing and Validation.
Support documentation process by providing applicable artefacts (code samples, screenshots, etc.)
3rd party integration projects (e.g. with MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Magento)
Custom solutions for clients
Take ownership of the data strategy of clients (Import & Export strategies of E-Mail Marketing relevant
data)
Take ownership of post sales implementation of solutions agreed in pre-sales.
Assure all delivered services are of high quality and meet client expectations.
Liaise with internal departments for up to data product knowledge and collaboration on on-going projects
YOUR PROFILE:
 The main purpose of this function is to provide technical consultation regarding our solutions for Emarsys’ customers.
 Have 3+ years’ experience in a technical role (e.g. Web Developer) – ideally with a SaaS Provider
 Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications for Online Marketing, CRM, or Campaign Management
experience is a plus
 Experience with integration project (e.g. API, Databases, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Magento, Recommendation Engines)
 Previous experience in a client facing role is preferable
 A keen understanding of data structures and workflow to aid clients in project scope and implementation requirements
 Be able to talk specifics of middleware and systems integration with developers and IT Directors/CTO’s
 Willingness to travel up to 70% (also internationally)
 Knowledge of the online marketing space (specifically E-Mail marketing) is a definite advantage
 Hands on knowledge of database structure and software architecture.
 HTML, PHP, MYSQL is an added advantage
 Good oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to top
management (C-level) and non-technical audience
 Hands-on mentality and joy with prospect/client facing role
 Strong conceptual design capabilities
 High level of initiative and the ability to work without supervision
