How to Apply for a Grant
1. Read the grant objectives and local strategy detailed for your grant category detailed in this document to determine if
your request aligns with Boeing Israel strategies for:
o Tomorrow’s Innovators
o Veterans & Families
o Dynamic Communities: Building Capacity to Save Lives
2. Determine that your organization is eligible to apply. Review the grants exclusion guidelines.
3. Contact your local community investor to discuss a proposed project.
4. If your community investor determines that your project aligns to Boeing's local strategies, you may be asked to submit
an online letter of inquiry (LOI) as part of the grant application process.
5. Your LOI will be evaluated through our early gate review process for alignment, readiness, viability, measureable
outcomes and broad impact.
6. If the LOI is approved, you will be given an invitation code and invited to submit a full grant proposal.

Boeing has held an important role in Israeli aviation and aerospace since the state's founding in 1948. Boeing has
worked closely with Israeli commercial and military customers and suppliers and has developed many lasting
partnerships. We work within Boeing’s community investment strategies to develop a site-specific plan tailored to the
particular needs of our region, focusing our grants on the following strategies:

Our Future Tomorrow’s Innovators
Goal: Create cradle to career pathways to strengthen and diversify the pipeline of skilled workers entering
today’s dynamic labor market.
Concentration:
 Early Learning: Increase the number of kindergartners who are ready for school, particularly in mathematics.
 Primary & Middle School: Generate interest and sustained participation in STEM disciplines through handson, experiential learning.
 High School: Graduate more students who are ready to enter STEM related or other high demand careers
and/or STEM focused post-secondary education.
 Workforce Preparation: Prepare veterans, under-skilled adults and young adults for living wage jobs in
high-demand sectors.

Goal: Build better lives for transitioning service members, veterans and their families.
Concentration:
 Workforce Transition: Invest in high-quality training and skill development programs for veterans and their
families.
 Recovery and Rehabilitation: Support hands-on recovery programs focusing on the following:
o Post-Traumatic Stress
o Moral and physical injuries
o Veteran suicide prevention
