White Bead = Cloud
condensation
precipitation
2 Light Blue Bead = rain
3 Brown Bead = ground
accumulation
4 Dark Blue Bead = water in lakes,
rivers and oceans surface runoff
5 Green Bead = plants
transpiration
6 Yellow Bead = sun source of energy
that keeps the cycle going
7 Clear Bead = water vapor evaporation
8 White Bead = back to cloud, to start cycle all
over again!

Water droplets in clouds
eventually become too
heavy for the air to support
and fall to the ground as
rain, hail or snow.
Water from water bodies
(lakes, streams, creeks etc.)
change from a liquid to a vapor
and rise into the air. Sunshine,
wind and warmer air can speed
up the rate of evaporation.
Water is released into the
air by the leaves of
plants. Plants transpire
more on hot, sunny days.
Water vapor cools and forms
around small dust particles as
small as droplets. These
droplets are attracted to each
other and become clouds.
Water travels downhill
and enters into rivers
and lakes.
