Australian Football is currently experiencing phenomenal growth in popularity as rates soar across
South East Queensland. We invite you to become part of our exciting sport by becoming a sponsor of
The Gap Junior Australian Football Club.
Why Sponsor Australian Football?




Over 7,200 registered AFL Junior participates in Queensland for 2015.
2015 saw an increase to 46 grassroot clubs within South East Queensland with the Under
6 competition entering its 5th year.
The nabAuskick program attracts over 43,000 primary school aged participants annually
and, as such, is the largest grassroots sporting association of its kind in Australia.
Queensland AFL Clubs are supported by 10,000 officials and volunteers.
Australian Football at grassroots level of participation is expected to explode even further in the
coming years with the employment of over 150 AFLQ Development staff state wide. The Development
staff will have face to face contact with all club committees and volunteers. This allows direct
distribution of your promotional material to specific targeted markets.
The appeal of Australian Football is far-reaching, with a true family focus. Many families support their
local and national AFL Club over several generations, and this loyalty has infiltrated both born-andbred Queensland families as well others who have migrated from other areas of Australia and the
world.
The focus of the nabAuskick Program is fun and safe, making it a popular choice for parents and
children. The move into junior football introduces the Kids First Program to ensure the safety and fun
of all involved in the club and games.
AFL is widely recognised as a unique and truly Australian game, played by Australians, for Australians.
Club Sponsorship Levels
Team sponsorship ($150 minimum, one year only) – Club Equipment
Team sponsorship assists to providing equipment to ensure compliance with AFL Brisbane Juniors
Risk Management Policy at all training session. This is aimed at the parents, grandparents and
extended families of the children within the club to become a noticeable contributor of the team.
 Family/Company Name or other such display (with committee approval) at all games on the
coach’s box.
 End of Year Function Day – invitation to be forwarded.
 Listed on club website under Team Sponsors.

Bronze Level ($250 per year) – Club
Bronze level sponsorship assists to provide home game facilities to ensure compliance with AFL
Brisbane Juniors Risk Management Policy.
 Company Name/Logo displayed at all home games.
 End of Year Function Day – invitation to be forwarded.
 Advertisement in all club communications.
 Advertisement on club website and facebook.
Silver Level ($500 per year) – Club
Silver level sponsorship assists to provide home game facilities to ensure compliance with AFL
Brisbane Juniors Risk Management Policy.
 Company Name/Logo displayed at all home games.
 Jumper Presentation Day Recognition – invitation to be forwarded.
 End of Year Function Day – invitation to be forwarded.
 Advertisement in all club communications.

Silver Level ($500 per year) – Juniors
Silver level sponsorship assists to provide training to all junior level coaches and first aid training to
volunteers to ensure compliance with AFL Brisbane Juniors Risk Management Policy.

 Jumper Presentation Day Recognition – invitation to be forwarded.
 End of Year Function Day – invitation to be forwarded.

Gold Level ($500 to $1,000) - Auskick
Gold level sponsorship for Auskick provides playing shirts and medallions for the registered
participates. To run the Auskick program the club required two (2) Auskick sponsors per year.
 Company Name/Logo printed in white on the Auskick T-shirts, one set in green shirts, one in
blue shirts for all the Auskick participates. In 2013 the Dragons had 51 participates.
 Company Name/Logo displayed at all home games.

Gold Level ($1,000 to $1,500 per year) – Club
Gold level sponsorship improves club facilities.

Gold Level ($1,000 to $1,500 per year) – Juniors
Gold level sponsorship improves training equipment for the junior players to ensure compliance
with AFL Brisbane Juniors Risk Management Policy.
 Company Name/Logo emblazed on players leg shorts.
 Company Name/Logo displayed on club apparel.
 Company Name/Logo displayed at all home games.

Platinum Level (upwards from $2,000 per year)
Platinum level sponsorship improves ground facilities and maintains not only the continued
existence of the club but also growth and improvement of junior football.
 Company Name/Logo emblazed on players guernseys either on the front chest or lower back.
 Company Name/Logo displayed on club apparel.
 Company Name/Logo displayed at all home games.
 Jumper Presentation Day Recognition – invitation to be forwarded.
 End of Year Function Day – invitation to be forwarded.
 Advertisement in all club communications.
 Advertisement on club website and facebook.
Custom Level (minimum $250, maximum to be negotiated)
The custom level of sponsorship is to be decided between the President and Sponsor as per separate
contract. This may be in terms of discounts to members, goods and services in kind, regular/large
raffle prizes and/or named club event. Sponsorship may include the following:
