ACM-6 Air Meter Pressure Type Kit
The air meter measures entrained air in normal weight fresh mixed concrete. It has an easy to use and
easy to ready gauge with calibration adjustments. Its brass pump builds test pressure faster using fewer
strokes. The kit comes complete with the meter, plastic carrying case, syringe, tamping rod, strike off
bar, rubber mallet, calibration vessel, and inside/outside calibration rules and instructions.

GAM-0200 Lightweight Air Meter Kit-Roller Meter Type (Aluminum)
The lightweight air (roller) meter simply and accurately measures the air content of fresh mixed
concrete, utilizing all types of aggregate. The meter is constructed from aircraft grade cast aluminum
and is black anodized to resist corrosion from concrete mixtures. The kit comes complete with the
meter, stainless steel fast acting clamps, tamping rod, syringe, baffle funnel assembly, straightedge,
spanner wrench, measuring cup, and heavy duty plastic carrying case. The meter is made in the USA
and meets ASTM C173 and AASHTO T196.

ACM-32 Slump Cone-Metal
The Slump Cone is spun from heavy gauge steel and is seamless to provide a stronger, more durable
product that is easy to clean. All parts of the cone are plated for rust resistance. The cone has an 8”
open base, a 4” top, and an overall height of 12”.
PSC Slump Cone-Plastic
This inexpensive, rugged Plastic Slump Cone is dimensionally identical to our standard metal cone. It will not rust or dent
and can be cleaned in an acid bath if necessary.
SCSET Slump Cone Test Set (base, cone, rod, scoop)
The portable slump test set includes all tools necessary to conduct a slump test on a sample of freshly
mixed concrete. The set includes, base with cone hold-down clamps, slump cone, tamping rod, and
scoop. The set meets ASTM C143 and AASHTO T119.
SCB Slump Cone Base-Aluminum
The Slump Cone Base Plate is made from cast aluminum. Base clamps rotate over foot lugs to secure
the slump cone during filling. After filling of the slump cone, the base can be released without
disturbance of the sample. Once the slump cone is lifted, the handle rotates vertically over the sample to
facilitate measurement of the resulting concrete slump. The base can be used to consolidate the entire
slump testing set into one, easy to carry unit.
Tamping Rods
These round, straight steel rods are used with concrete cylinder molds, slump cones, unit weight tests,
and air tests. The size of the rod depends on the type of test being performed. Both ends of each rod
are rounded to a hemispherical tip. Each rod is plated for rust resistance.

Unit Weight Buckets-Steel
Unit Weight Buckets are used to determine the unit weight of aggregates and fresh
concrete. Each bucket is made of heavy-gauge seam-welded water tight steel and has an
attached bail handle. The unit weight buckets are available in both ASTM and Non-ASTM

These durable plastic strike-off plates meet ASTM standards and are more economical and
light weight than metal. Select a plate that is 2” larger than the diameter of the unit weight
measure. The most popular strike off plate is the ACM-SP14X14 because it works on up to
½ ft³ unit weight buckets.
H-4132 Concrete Pocket Penetrometer
The H-4132 is a lightweight, spring-reaction type concrete penetrometer for field and/or lab evaluation of the
initial set of concrete mortar based on ASTM C403. The penetration plunger has a 1/20 in² tip area and is
steadily pushed into the mortar to a 1” depth at periodic time intervals. The penetrometer’s calibrated range
is 0 – 700 psi. The resistance in psi is indicated on the scale. The term “initial set” refers to the semihardened, partially hydrated condition of the concrete beyond which it can no longer be worked. The point
of initial set is reached when the penetration value is 500 psi. The H-4132 meets ASTM C780.
HM-260 Concrete Pocket Penetrometer
The HM-260 is a lightweight, spring-reaction type concrete pocket penetrometer used for field and
laboratory evaluations of the initial set of concrete mortar. It has a direct reading scale from 0 - 700
PSI. The HM-260 meets ASTM C780 and comes with belt-loop carrying case.
