SEPTIMUS GAS PLANT
The Septimus Gas Plant is a sweet gas processing plant, located at 12-27-81-18 W6M in Northeastern British
Columbia. Aux Sable Canada acquired the Septimus Gas Plant in BC’s Montney Shale area from Crew Energy
in December of 2009. The Septimus gas plant was expanded from its initial 25 mmcf capacity to 60 mmcfd in
February 2011. In 2013, Crew began work on the installation of an additional compressor to further expand the
plant’s capacity. Crew Energy continues to operate the plant.

The Septimus pipeline is located near Fort St. John, in Northeastern
British Columbia starting at 12-27-81-18W6M and ending at SW
22-81-16W6M. Constructed in 2010, the pipeline CALGARY
transports sweet,
liquids rich natural gas from the Aux Sable owned Septimus Gas
Plant to the Alliance Pipeline, for downstream processing at Aux
Sable’s Channahon NGL Extraction & Fractionation Facility. The
pipeline was constructed and sized to accommodate potential
future volumes from Crew and other regional producers in the
liquids rich Montney gas play.
