Examination:
There will be two written exams.
Examina 1, 2017-04-28,
Examina 2, 2017-06-02,

To pass the course all moments is mandatory, which includes lectures, labwork, project work,
field trips, hands-in’s.
Grading:
To pass, grade E – A (where A is highest) is required in both exams (Exam 1 and Exam 2) and
participating in all mandatory moments and approved hand-in’s (reports). The final grade for the
course is the combined grades from the two exams where they each counts 50% of the total exam. To
pass the first exam the common lab reports and group discussions should be approved. To pass the
second exam, the project and case studies should be approved and the study visits attended.
Grading system is based on a 7-step scale:
A = at least 95 % of maximum score
B = at least 85 % of maximum score
C = at least 75 % of maximum score
D = at least 65 % of maximum score
E = at least 60 % of maximum score
