① backrest
The Peza's injection-moulded plastic honeycomb backrest structure is
made up of 50% recycled plastic and 50% virgin plastic. Honeycomb air
cushion technology provides the ultimate strength to weight ratio.
② armrest
The armrests are made from injection-moulded polypropylene - 50%
recycled and 50% virgin plastic, with a 15-20% glass fibre filler. They also
have a reinforcing centre 'rib' construction for maximum strength.
e seat
Our patented, engineered honeycomb injection-moulded seat board is ergonomically
designed to distribute pressure loads across the entire seat surface. The honeycomb
air cushion technology has revolutionised body weight distribution and product
longevity - to give improved long-term sitting comfort and productivity.
④ gaslift
The seat height can be adjusted within a 100 mm range, by means of a class 4-type gas
cylinder – housed in a 50,8 mm x 2 mm steel tube. Optional plastic bellow cover available.
⑤ mechanism
The swivel and tilt mechanism operates on a coiled spring which caters for various body
weights via a tension adjuster. The dual lever both locks the movement in a forward position
and operates the gas height mechanism. The body weight tension control has a variable
range of 40-120 kg with a static load of 125 kg, in accordance with BIFMA standards.
⑥ base
Injection-moulded 5-star base with reinforced steel inner ring and lattice construction. A 5-star
base with castors allow for easy movement, while the user’s feet rest firmly on the floor.
⑦ castors
Heavy duty castors with steel pin — 65 mm diameter. The pin insert is an off-set load
bearing type to ensure quick alignment in any direction, giving total manoeuvrability.
⑧ upholstery
Genuine/synthetic leather or fabric on the seat and backrest.
frame
The Visitor chair's sleigh frame is manufactured according to SABS standards. The
tubing is 25,4 mm diameter x 2,5 mm wall thickness. The frame comes standard
in a silver grey epoxy finish – with optional colours or chrome – and has been
designed to withstand above normal loading without distortion or breakage.
warranty
• 5-year warranty on all workmanship and manufactured components, based on a productivity
lifetime of 8 hour shifts a day for the Operator and 3 hour shifts/ day for the Visitor chairs.
