Temple Christian College, Bethany Campus had the privilege of welcoming four soccer players from Adelaide United, who came to be part of an activity with
the Year 10 Spanish class.
Sergio Cirio, Marcelo Carrusca, Isaias Sanchez and Jeronimo Neumann come from a Spanish speaking country, which gave the students of this class the
opportunity to practice their language skills.
The students prepared questions and ran a press conference in Spanish, then each player joined a group of students and answered a quiz about soccer and
Spanish culture. After the Spanish activities were finished the players spent some time chatting with the rest of the school community and signed autographs.
We would like to thank Adelaide United and the four players for coming to our school. Their presence made a huge impact not only on the soccer fanatics, but
also on the Spanish lovers.
