Provide overall guidance and direction for the football program
Interprets the rules and policies pertaining to the governance of the football board
Preside over all Football Board Meetings
o Maintain monthly task list and present
o Monitor completion of monthly task list
o Provide agenda to Secretary to post

Be the Primary Contact to community:
o Attend St Anthony Sports Boosters meetings
o Attend league meetings
o Maintain relationship with High School Athletic Director and Football Coach
o Hold preseason parents meeting
Handle team schedules:
o Provide feedback to league schedulers as to when our fields are available
o Provide draft and final schedules to coaches
o Respond to scheduling changes during the season
Monitor Football budget:
o Work with Treasurer on preparing annual football budget
o Present annual football budget to the St. Anthony Sports Boosters board
o Approve expenditures
Facilitates Resolution of concerns:
o From parents about coaches
o From coaches about referees
o From coaches about parents and players
o From other commissioners about players and coaches
Re-assign activities if board positions are vacant

Organize Huskie Week
o Confirm Huskie week date
o Provide Secretary with information
Coordinate the ordering of jerseys
o Work with jersey vendor and coaches in picking styles of jerseys to be used
o Obtain sample jerseys in each size. These will be used for fitting players.
o Be present for equipment pick-up at the community center:
 Size players for their jersey size.
 Record player jersey size
 Ensure that players’ last name is spelled correctly
o Get from the coaches, a list of numbers for each player.
o Place jersey and sock order with vendor
 Verify spelling of last name
o Ensure that jersey vendor receives and prints jerseys in time for the first pre-season
scrimmage games.
o Pick up finished jerseys and socks and distribute to coaches.
Fill in for the President if not present or available.
Attend SASB meetings if the President cannot attend or organize substitute.

Establish a head coach for each team
Organize spring coaches meeting
Organize coaches paperwork
o Ensure that coaches sign the coaches conduct form
o Ensure coaches take the concussion awareness course

Coordinate photographer for team and individual pictures.
Maintain relationship with Coaches during the season.
Provide coach training opportunities when applicable.

Keep schedule of dates/times that each team is practicing/playing games on St. Anthony
fields (C2, C3, High School Varsity field, and High School Varsity practice field)
Check with High School Football Coach and Director to see if the 7th and 8th grade teams can
use the high school varsity field for games.
Reserve C2 field for the football season.
Monitor fields and work with city on field improvements.
Meet with other boosters sports to come up with an overall field maintenance program
Provide practice/game schedule to Secretary to post
Determine field conflicts on draft schedules
Communicate “fields schedule” to Coaches Director and Secretary
Coordinate field usage with summer and fall soccer commissioners
Coordinate the chalking of fields
Ensure that fields are set up and torn down for football games at Central Park and the High
School Varsity field.
Work with the city to ensure field lights time limits are appropriate.
Put orange pylons and first down markers in the blue equipment box on the first base side of
C2.
Make sure coaches have keys to turn on the lights

Collect invoices from vendors and receipts from parents needing reimbursement for items
purchased
Obtain approval from the President for all items purchased.
Send check and deposit requests to the booster’s treasurer
Keep a register of deposits and credits to the boosters football account. Ensure that the
register is in synch with the balance the booster’s treasurer has
Assure that no unauthorized expenses are incurred.
Submit a financial statement for review at each Board meeting
Prepare and submit an annual budget for approval by the BFAB.
