Research Perception of & Attitude toward Welfare States & Social Policies among University
Project: Students in Hong Kong: A Follow-up Study
Project As a follow-up study of the 2016 SURP project guided by the supervisor, this
Description: research project will examine perception of and attitude toward welfare states and
social policies among university students in Hong Kong, in order to shed light on
longitudinal changes in university students’ attitude toward welfare states and
social policies.
Students will conduct a literature review to understand relevant theories. Under
the direction of the supervisor, they will also collect/analyse survey data, and
compare the findings with results from the 2016 SURP project.
