• MicroGrids has huge potential for rapid growth all over
the globe
• Hybrid MicroGrid solutions are already profitable in
remote locations compared to status quo.
• Costs are coming down fast with better integration and
volume
• Subsidized grid power and fossil fuels are major barriers.
• Future prospect of national grid connection in off-grid
locations reduces investment interest.
• Subsidy schemes for hybrid systems are still rare
