Kong Sun acquires grid-connected PV power plant in Inner Mongolia
with installed capacity of 30MW

(5 January 2016 – Hong Kong) Kong Sun Holdings Limited (“Kong Sun” or the “Company”,
SEHK stock code: 295, which together with its subsidiaries is referred to as the “Group”),
which invests in and operates photovoltaic (“PV”) power stations, is pleased to announce that
the Group acquires a PV power plant in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia with installed capacity of
30MW. The power plant has been connected to the power grid on 12 August 2015.
The total consideration, including the assumption of the debts and liabilities of the project, of
the photovoltaic power plant is approximately RMB271 million, which shall be settled in cash
by the Company’s internal resources.
Dr. Liu Wen Ping, Executive Director of Kong Sun, commented, “After the completion of the
acquisition, our total installed capacity will then increase to around 600MW. By leveraging on
our healthy financial position, we will continue to explore acquisition and development
opportunities in photovoltaic power projects across China, with the aim of bringing
considerable and consistent returns to our shareholders.”
