Reaction

A reaction is a response to something that involves taking action, or an action taken in response to something (as
defined by Encarta dictionary). I know that you know this. However, what you may not know or have been paying
attention to is the stalwart reactions shown by our elected officials to the weeks of revelation regarding Planned
Parenthood’s selling of fetal body parts.
I have often assumed that if someone was aware of a bad thing they would do something about it; they would be as
aghast as I was about it and that our reactions would be the same thereby creating strength of more than one to change
a situation to work out to a better end.
I have clearly been wrong on many occasions and certainly with this most recent assumption. I assumed that these
obvious atrocities performed by Planned Parenthood would provoke a shock to even the most liberal of minds and that
good things would happen – something would get done about it.
Again, I was wrong…so as I pondered why there would be a blanket of blindness
laid over the eyes of those in power, my mind makes a correlation to the “wise
little monkeys”. Originating in China in the 8th century, these little monkeys
created by Confucius have even permeated our 21st century culture. We see the
little statues with hands over their eyes, hands over their mouths, and hands over
their ears. Their statements are made to say, “Look not to what is contrary to
society”, “Listen not to what is contrary to society”, and “Speak not to what is
contrary to society”. Sounds like a great idea, right? Well, besides the fact that God
said it in His Word first, it is a good idea. We will get to what God said in a moment.

This is what my mind ponders when I see the reaction of our politicians to the horrific news of the actions of Planned
Parenthood.
Over the years, I have witnessed just plain bad decisions of our court systems and government, and some of the
decisions have been jaw dropping. How could it be that there are political powers actually defending the actions of
Planned Parenthood and not denouncing them? To actually cover their eyes to the horrific pictures, cover their ears to
the haughty confessions heard on tape of high officials arrogantly bragging about what they do and then standing up in
our public square and speaking about the greatness of Planned Parenthood

and even rewarding its actions. It is reprehensible.

Praise God for the privilege of
serving Him through PSG!
We are in no way a political machine here at Pregnancy Support Group. But,
let it be known that every politician from our president to those closely
surrounding him and even some of the presidential hopefuls, such as Hilary
Clinton, have poised themselves in defense of the actions of Planned
Parenthood. They have done so in their own words, (see this from Obama’s
spokesperson http://www.lifenews.com/2015/07/20/obama-spokesman-onselling-aborted-baby-body-parts-we-will-not-defund-planned-parenthood/),
or simply ignored it and continued business as usual (see
http://www.lifenews.com/2015/07/15/hillary-clinton-ignores-plannedparenthood-selling-body-parts-of-aborted-babies/). Their clear intentions are
to act as if these action are not what they look like. There are some that
agree – we do not!
No we are not political here at PSG. However, it is important for us to
recognize those whom are so ingrained in this political system and feed from
the same plate as those that make their money from such outrages so that
we will not be the people that close our eyes, our ears, and our mouths to
what is happening right in front of us.
As a Christian, I do not look to Confucius for the truth. I look to the Word of
God. When I read Psalm 119:37 (NAS), “Turn away my eyes from looking at
vanity, and revive me in Your ways”, I know that we are not to look at such
terrible actions and pretend that they are not happening. When I read
Mathew 15:11 (NAS), “Hear and understand. It is not what enters into the
mouth that defiles the man but what precedes out of the mouth this defiles

the man.” We are not to speak those things that are not true as if by just

speaking them it makes evil things good. Finally, Proverbs 2:2 (NAS), “Make
your ear attentive to wisdom; incline your heart to understanding.” We are
to listen to wisdom and truth and be eager for our hearts to understand truth, not the lies that we are fed. In fact, if we
spent time in the Word we would recognize them for the lies that they are.

Ultimately, we can see that Confucius was still aligning with society. And we
know that a society that disregards the God of the universe will eventually
fall into peril which we are witnessing with our very own eyes. Our one and
only hope is in the Lord who is the same yesterday, today and forever and
for this I am grateful.
The message of hope that I wish to share, is that all of us at Pregnancy
Support Group feel honored and blessed to be the hands and feet for God
carrying the message to those in need, one person at a time. One at a time
might not seem that big of a deal but, the love message from Jesus through
our mouths, to the hearts of the hundreds of women we see in a year here
at PSG, will go a long way in changing the hearts and minds of a future
generation. We cannot get side tracked with those determined to pretend
the evil is not evil. We know what God says about evil, and if we believe
what God says about evil, then we should be driven to share the Good News
to as many people as possible so that more and more people will be less
likely to disregard God, and more likely to shield their ears from the
falsehoods spoken by those being lead to the slaughter.
A few last words of hope that we can take with us and share with others are
from Isaiah 33:15,16 (NAS), “He who walks righteously and speaks with
sincerity, He who rejects unjust gain and shakes his hands so that they hold
no bribe; He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed and shuts his
eyes from looking upon evil; He will dwell on the heights, His refuge will be
the impregnable rock; His bread will be given him, His water will be sure.”
Volunteers Needed!
Pregnancy Support Group will have
a booth set up at the Yolo County
Fair, Wednesday August 19th Sunday, August 23rd. We need
people to volunteer at the booth for
3 or 4 (preferably 4) hour shifts. We
even have parking passes that can
float between volunteers. The
booth needs to be staffed from 6
pm to 11 pm on Wednesday, 12
noon to 11 pm on Thursday through
Saturday, and 12 noon to closing on
Sunday.
We have had many women change
their minds about having an
abortion after they got an
ultrasound, saw an ultrasound, or
just talked with us. Let us know if
you would like to help and make a
difference in the lives of women

Now a person that follows these words of truth would be someone trustworthy enough to lead this country!

California Tea Party Declaration
Though Pregnancy Support Group does not prescribe to and/or suggest agreement to any political party, it is nice to see
that there is a group of people willing to stand up and say that what Planned Parenthood has done for a very long, long
time and plans to continue to do unless forcefully stopped by our government, is wrong.
This is the declaration by the Patriot’s Declaration to the Planned Parenthood Federation 2015
Whereas, the Declaration of Independence affirms that mankind is endowed with certain unalienable rights, among
which are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness;
Whereas, that Declaration has never been repealed and is subsumed into the Constitution of the United States of
America;
Whereas, Federal statutes exist, which proclaim that the extraction of conceived human life from a woman's body must
meet proscribed laws and standards of medical practice;
Whereas, the promotion, tolerance or conspiracy to violate the above by any organization, person or agency-including
the Federal Government-is acting outside the principles of Nature, Nature's God and the rule of law within these
United States of America;
We, the California Tea Party Groups, condemn the documented actions of agents of the Planned Parenthood Federation
of America, who subvert this nation's Founding Principles, violate its laws and mock the cornerstones of human decency
so ably established by the Declaration of Independence.
The Pregnancy Support Group has been blessed with a beautiful boat and trailer that if sold would be very beneficial in

There has been a donation to PSG of household furniture and other items that PSG has for sale such as an Oak Dinning
Table that seats six w/matching Hutch (they do not have to be sold together), chase, Victrola cabinet without player but
in excellent condition, a 1970's record player console in excellent condition (turn table still works). A mirrored dresser
with 9 drawers in very nice shape, an old sewing machine cabinet (a great project piece), and more! Call PSG for more
