RULES
1. The judge’s decision is final. They may disqualify a competitor at any
stage of the competition if in their opinion the pony/horse is lame, sick,
exhausted, misuse of the whip, bad language or breach of pony club
rules.
2. All ages as on 1/01/15.
3. Hats must comply with pony club regulations - Pas 015:1998 or EN
1384: 1996, BS EN 1384: 1997 with BSI Kitemark and CE. Snell
E2001; PAS 015:1998. For Jumping a skull cap is recommended as is a
body protector.
4. The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel classes should this
become necessary.
5. The organisers and landowners accept no responsibility for anything
that may happen from any cause whatsoever to competitors,
spectators, animals or property.
6. It is a condition of entry that all competitors shall agree to indemnify
the organisers against legal action arising from any accidents.
7. Galloping is forbidden on the show ground.
8. All dogs must be kept on a lead. Please clean up after your dogs.
9. No pony/horse under 4 years of age may be ridden on the show ground.
10. Any objection must be made in writing to the DC or Committee
member within 30 minutes of the incident and accompanied by a fee of
£20 which will be forfeited if the complaint is not upheld.
11. Please take your litter home and do NOT muck out Horse boxes and
Trailers on the showground.
12. Stallions on the showground but must be adequately bitted, display
stallion discs and competently ridden/handled or they will be asked to
leave the showground. Minimum age of rider or handler 14 years.
In the event of bad weather in the week before the show or on
the day please check the Pony Club website for news of
cancellation.
