We pride ourselves on being a fixture in the community. As such, we are careful not to exclude our valued regular guests and try not to hire out the venue too much. We still welcome any proposals or enquiries and handle these on a case by case basis. THE FRONT BAR PAX: 16 - 20 sit down; 30 cocktail Exclusivity: Not a private area Cost: No minimum spend Please note, we do not reserve tables in the beer garden. THE BREWERY, though shiny and beautiful, is highly operational. We rarely host events in the brewery for safety and production reasons. Wedding celebrations We love love almost as much as we love beer. Please see below for some FAQ regarding weekday wedding celebrations at Stomping Ground. Q. CAN WE HOST OUR WEDDING IN THE BREWERY? A. The short answer is: no. The brewery itself is not a safe or conducive place to host a function, as we are constantly using it for production. We want our guests to be safe and happy! Q. CAN WE HOST OUR WEDDING IN THE BEER HALL? A. The short answer is: maybe. It is our policy not to exclusively book out our Beer Garden or Beer Hall on weekends. This being said, our Private Deck is available on weekends for groups of 30 - 80 guests. We also recommend hosting a weekday wedding reception, in which case we can offer the Beer Garden in its entirety. Q. WEEKDAY WEDDINGS? PEOPLE HAVE THOSE? A. Sure! If you’re after something local and low-key, a weekday wedding is a perfect solution. Our Function & Event Manager will work with you every step of the way to make sure your event is a perfect reflection of you as a couple. Q. WHAT IS THE COST? A. Minimum spend requirements depend on the day and time of your celebration, but range from $5000 $10,000 combined food and beverage. Q. WHAT IS YOUR CAPACITY? A. The Beer Garden can accommodate 200+ guests. Q. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? A. Our Beer Garden is equipped with a retractable “Melbourne-proof ” roof. Q. ARE OUTSIDE CATERING SERVICES PERMITTED? A. Yes, though our kitchen remains in operation all day, therefore our facilities are not available to outside caterers. Q. CAN WE BOOK THE ENTIRE VENUE? A. No, though the Beer Garden is separated by dividers, allowing for a private experience. MENUS The inclusion of beer and beer ingredients is commonplace in our kitchen. TOURS & TASTINGS Stomping Ground offers a free brewery tour and tasting every Saturday and Sunday at 12 pm. Tours and tastings may be booked outside these days and times for $5 pp/tour or $10 pp/tasting (3 beers), conducted by one of our onstaff certified cicerones. Optional entrée, add $5 per head: - Lamb carpaccio, spring onion, sprouts & micros, pickled turnip, crème fraiche.
