 Section
8 Tenant and Landlord
You receive notification from a housing authority
they have a tenant with intentions of moving to
your jurisdiction.
Once you receive paperwork, you can begin to put
this new person into the system.
 At this
point the port in is added into applicant
list.
 Once you receive paperwork from the initiating
HA, and interview the applicant, you can put the
applicant details into the system, and issue a
voucher.
Your port in now has a voucher and can go our and
find a unit to move to.
The port in will return with an RFTA, enabling you to
perform a rent reasonableness comparison and
inspection. If both are okay, you can house the
port in, into ORC.
Now we have the applicant “housed” into ORC,
meaning the applicant is no longer on the waiting
list and is in ORC ready to have the 50058 created.
 All
portability actions are listed under the wizard
hat.
