Dissemination of Operations Research Findings
Dr Faith Thuita as principal investigator and study team leader provided
leadership in the conduct of a landscape analysis (Focused Ethnographic
Study) commissioned by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition to inform
design of nutrition interventions in three counties in Northern Kenya; Isiolo,
Marsabit and Turkana. Research findings were disseminated to the 9-5-2
USAID partners and health and nutrition stakeholders in Isiolo county. As
part of feedback to communities in the county, Dr Thuita participated in a
live telecast on radio (Isiolo FM) alongside GAIN country director, the African
Development Solutions (ADESO) Chief of Party and the REGAL-IR behaviuor
Change Communication Officer.
