If a player is tagged out or forced out, they take a seat. Double plays are also in effect. No bunting, leading off, or stealing. Sliding is acceptable (but not encouraged) as long as proper technique has been taught by coaching staff. 10th defensive player and beyond plays in outfield First Half of Season Coach pitch Hitter and runner advance one base only on hit ball. 6 pitches per batter good or bad. Do not end the at bat with a foul ball. Second Half of Season - Beginning April 23rd, 2017 3-player pitches per batter, 3-coach pitches per batter good or bad. If the pitcher is throwing strikes let them complete the batter. Do not end the at bat with a foul ball. Player pitchers start from the pitching rubber and are allowed to take 1-2 steps forward as necessary to pitch strikes. Players pitch a maximum of 1 inning per game. (3 innings would use 3 pitchers.) Extra base hits are allowed second half of the season, but ONLY if it’s a clean hit. If it’s an error, the batter and runner advance one base only. Base runners may score from 2nd or advance from 1st to 3rd on a base hit but ONLY if it’s a clean hit to the outfield. If it’s an error, the batter and runner advance one base only. In other words, Billy is not the starting 1st baseman for every game g that not all players will pitch in games. In order to speed up the game coaches can call a ball fair if a player hits the ball down the line just foul.
