First Payment
Step
1
Online
Registration
www.oakinternational.org
Recommendations for Online Registration:
• Read the instructions for online registration.
• Read the admission criteria.
• Read the Terms and Conditions.
• We recommend that the promoter fill this part out.
Step
2
Admission
Forms
www.oakinternational.org
Recommendations for filling out the Admission Forms:
• Select the course: Year Course or Summer Course.
• Select the Academy.
• Select and read the Checklist of required documentation.
• Print out the rest of the forms to be filled out and/or signed; these can be filled out
online and then printed. Do not save changes.
• Ask the promoter to review your forms before sending them to the corresponding
academy by international mail.
• Do not send incomplete forms or forms without both parents’ signatures since this will
slow down the admission process in the academy.
Step
3
Acceptance
Letter
Por correo electrónico
Recommendations for the Acceptance Letter:
• Only send 100% complete forms to the academy.
• You may review your admission status at the Student Info section of the website by
typing in the student’s and father’s birth dates and the Registration Form.
• You may contact the academy two weeks after sending in the admission
documentation if you have not heard from the academy already.
• We recommend that you neither make payments to the academy nor purchase
airline tickets until receiving an acceptance letter.
Step
4
Payment of
Booking Fee
www.oakinternational.org
Recommendations for the payment of the Booking fee:
• Must be paid within 8 days of receipt of the acceptance letter from the academy.
• The amount to be paid and the tuition account can be found with the help of your
promoter or in Student Info.
• You may review the status of your payment in Student Info.
• Read the Terms and Conditions; this payment is non-refundable.
• It is very important to inform your promoter once you have made the payment.
Step
4
Visa
Recommendations for visa processing:
• Consult your promoter or consult the appropriate embassy for steps to processing your
visa.
• The United States Embassy requires a proof of payment for the entire course or proof of
a first payment together with a payment plan. Your promoter can help you obtain these.
• An I-20 visa form is necessary for the United States Student Visas.
• A Swiss visa requires filling out a form that your promoter can provide you.
• Summer courses do not require (in general) more than a tourist visa.
• Everest and Overbrook academies are in the United States, but keep in mind that
students will take a trip to Canada and will therefore need a Canadian visa. See your
promoter for more details.
Step
4
Plane Ticket
www.oakinternational.org
Recommendations for plane ticket purchase:
• See your promoter for agency recommendations and group ticket deals.
• We recommend that students fly in groups organized by Oak Internaitonal or with the
assistance of the airline. See Terms and Conditions.
• Please do not purchase a plane ticket before receiving an acceptance letter from the
academy.
• You may find group departure information at Student Info.
Step
5
First Payment
www.oakinternational.org
Recommendations for the first tuition payment:
• See your promoter for payment plans.
• We recommend paying in cash as this will obtain you discounts.
• The first tuition payment and deposit must be made at least 30 days before the
beginning of the course: August 15th for the year course; June 15th for the summer
course; December 15th for the spring course.
• See deposit account information with your promoter or in Student Info.
