The concept is very similar to an electronic plane ticket and is the future of sports ticketing. Paperless ticketing gives you a greater

right, just bring your wallet to the game and scan your credit card to enter. You can even register separate credit cards for each

What is paperless ticketing?
When you go paperless, you get through the Candlestick Park entry gate with something you’re carrying around already—your credit
card. No paper tickets means not forgetting them on the kitchen counter! At the gate, the representative will simply swipe the credit
card you associated to your tickets and hand you a slip of paper with your seat location on it. Easy!

What type of card can I use?
For 49ers home game tickets, a personal credit card is the only form of identification allowed for paperless ticket entry. Simply
register your preferred credit card to your account and remember to bring that card each week to enter the game. You can even
register separate credit cards for each ticket on the account—ideal if you’re sharing season tickets with friends or family members.
How do I add a card to my account?
1. Go to 49ers.com and log in to your My 49ers Account.
2. Under “Account Settings”, click “Manage Paperless Tickets.”
3. Select “Credit Card” from the drop down menu.
4. Complete the required fields, choose the credit card type from the drop down menu, and click “Add.”
What happens at the gate?
It’s similar to picking up tickets at a movie theater kiosk or picking up your boarding pass at an airport kiosk, all it takes is a swipe of
your credit card to admit you and your party. Then you’ll get a slip of paper with your seat location(s) on it so you know where
you’re going.
Will I be charged again when they swipe my credit card at the gate?
Your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED upon entry. At the gate, your credit card is only used to identify you as the owner of the
ticket(s).
If I don’t have a paper ticket, how will I remember where I’m sitting?
After your card is swiped at the gate, you will get a slip of paper with your seat location(s) on it.
What if I lose the credit card I use for paperless tickets or it expires?
Don’t worry, you can still get in! All you have to do is log in to your My 49ers Account, go to account settings and click “Manage
Paperless Tickets.” You can then select “Credit Card” from the drop down menu and “Add” a new credit card to your account. Once
added, you can associate your tickets to the alternate credit card.
What if I forget my credit card?
The credit card you associate to your tickets IS your ticket, so don’t leave home without it.
What if someone in my party arrives late?
If you cannot travel to the game together, then the best option is to transfer tickets to the rest of your party prior to the game. Your
friends will be able to set up their own account and opt to either associate a credit card to their ticket or choose the print-at-home
option.
Can I buy paperless tickets from other ticket sellers?
Only Ticketmaster sells official paperless tickets to 49ers home games.
Can I sell my paperless tickets on NFL Ticket Exchange?
Yes, the process for posting tickets for resale on NFL TicketExchange will not be affected.
