Sunbelt 2016 XXXVI Sunbelt Conference of the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA) April 5 – April 10, 2016 Newport Beach, California Paper and Poster Abstract Guidelines The Sunbelt 2016 organizing committee is soliciting abstracts for paper and poster presentations at the upcoming XXXVI Sunbelt Conference in Newport Beach, California, 5 – 10 April 2016. Abstract submission dates Opens on 16 November 2015 Closes on 4 January 2016, at 17:00 PST Details We invite abstract submissions for oral presentations (20 minute lecture) and posters (90 minute poster session) on topics relevant to social network analysis, including theory, methods, and applications of social network analysis. When submitting your abstract, select from the following Presentation Formats: 20-minute Lecture: You are given 20 minutes for an oral presentation, as part of a larger themed 2-hour session. o Note: you can also indicate that you are open to your abstract being “allocated for a poster” if a lecture is not possible. 90-minute Poster: You will stand next to your poster to share the important points of your paper, during the 90 minute Poster Seminar and Poster Slam held on Friday evening. Posters will be placed on 36” x 48” tri-fold boards. Poster Slam: If you select the 90-minute poster format, you can also opt into the Poster Slam. This is an epic scientific event where presenters compete with short, 3 minute talks on their poster, at the start of the Poster Seminar on Friday evening. Slammers are completely free to do whatever they want for 3 minutes. The more creative, the better! We highly recommend Slamming. Please limit all abstracts to 500 words, not including the title (and please do not include references). If an abstract is being submitted as part of an organized oral presentation session, please select the appropriate organized session name in the session field submission form. Paper and poster presentations will begin on Wednesday (6 April 2016) and end on Sunday (10 April, 2016). Presenting authors of accepted submissions must register for and present their work at the meeting. This stipulation applies to both oral and poster presentations. Each person may present only one paper or poster at the conference.
