Why do I have to pay in 2 different payment boxes? A: A payment plan includes current term tuition, curriculum/mandatory fees and residential meal plans only. If your account has a balance incurred due to miscellaneous fees such as parking violations, wellness center fees, etc., these fees are not included in the payment plan and it should be paid in the “Regular Payment Box.” Q: The amount due in my payment plan is not the same amount as I sign up for? A: A payment plan is set up for 4 payments per term. Additional charges for tuition, curriculum/mandatory fees and residential meal plans will cause adjustments to the payment plan thus changing the monthly amount due. Only the current monthly payment plan amount due is displayed in the payment plan payment box. A Student Account Statement inquiry will be launched in the near future to provide details regarding your account balance and inquiry questions. Q: My student account statement I received in the mail does not match the balance showing on the Make a payment page. A: This could be caused by several things. It could be that since your statement was mailed there has been additional activity on your account causing the balance to go up or down depending on the transaction(s). Or it could be that you have incurred a late charge in the form of a late registration charge or a late payment plan payment charge. These charges do not currently show on the web. You will need to mail in a payment to Shenandoah University, Business Office, 1460 University Drive, Winchester, VA 22601 for these charges or call the Business Office @ 540-665-4514 to pay via credit card over the phone. Q: I do not see the page confirmation at the end of the process? How do I know if my payment has been accepted? A: Your connection to WebAdvisor may have been dropped during the process. Login and view your payment account balance in WebAdvisor again to see if the payment amount has been applied to your account. Student Account Statement will be launched in the near future to accommodate your account inquiry questions. Page 6 of 6
