Summer Program 2017
The Learn, Grow and Play program enrollment is based on academic need. This
program is a collaboration between Marshall Public Schools, the Albion
Recreation Department and the Albion College Nature Center. Outdoor and

hands-on learning experiences will be an important part of this program.
Program Days/Hours
Mondays-Thursdays starting on Tuesday June 20th through Thursday,
July 27th. School will be closed for the entire week for the
Fourth of July Holiday.
Attendance: Children may not have more than two unexcused absences to remain in the program and
must follow the MPS Student Code of Conduct.
Academic Morning: 8:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Free Breakfast: 8:30-8:50 a.m. in the Harrington Cafeteria
Free Lunch 12:25-12:45pm in the Harrington Cafeteria
Buses will drop students off at the Recreation Department by 1pm
Albion Recreation Department Afternoon: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
FREE to all Summer School Participants
The Albion Rec. Department is planning a fun and active afternoon for students
who participate in the morning academic portion of this program.
Buses will pick kids up to take them home from the Recreation Department at 4pm.
