E0’ test beam targets in 2003
- Yield, e/MeV with production crystals and production VPTs
- Pre-calibration precision using VPT and crystal lab data
- Detailed scan across 4 SCs: SC across to SC, across 4 SC meeting point
- Comparison to Monte Carlo, constant term versus FNUF: lead shading of chamfers
- Quantify level of white/coherent noise for 50cm read out lines
- Laser monitoring - laser light in rear of xtal, signal with VPT instead of APD
- Measure R for endcap crystals/endcap monitoring, especially ‘soft’ 2001 crystals
- Data analysis
- Complementary work to that of existing teams looking at barrel data

Propose to use existing EE crystals with ACCOS FNUF ~<0.55%
• correction factor, ACCOS to Alveolar ~ -0.05 - -0.1
• correction factor, lead shading of chamfers, ~ -0.1
• should achieve all FNUFs ~<0.35-0.4
IC (D Britton) prepared to shade chamfer of higher FNUF crystals
Measure FNUF before/after operation.
Try to make SCs from same batch, all year 2000, or all year 2001 (rad soft)
Will need crystals from next order of 100 EE crystals
