This notebook is light, small and very easy to carry with a 10” display. It is a lower spec model
that is suitable for students that need to access e-mails, browse the web and access social
networks like Facebook etc. It is very popular with students that do not require high performance
and speed from a notebook. Performance wise Acer AOD 257 outperforms better than its
competitors due to its dual core processor (most of the netbooks are not dual core).
A great battery backup with a 3 cell battery about 3 - 4 hours of browsing. The web cam is
sufficient for Skype and Video chatting and there is a microphone near the web cam for voice
chatting.
We do not recommend this netbook for people who are looking for a secondary pc or a cheap
laptop to watch movie and do graphic design. This is a very entry level notebook and does not
include a CD-DVD unit.
