in the region are now for LED systems
The total lighting market in GCC was
pegged at about US$2.4 billion in
2015. This is estimated to grow to
US$3.5 billion by 2020
The GCC lighting stakeholders should
also be prepared for opportunities in
next generation lighting such as organic
LEDs (OLEDs). Globally, OLED in lighting
application is estimated to be US$170-180
million and has the potential to grow at 23
per cent over the next 5 years.
