This form, complete in every respect, and submitted via the registration system 7 DAYS BEFORE the date of the match in which the
player is to play. The form MUST be accompanied by proof of the player’s date of birth, unless he/she is currently registered on the
registration data base. A passport type recent photograph, (within the last 3 months) head and shoulders only not headgear to be worn,
must also be uploaded to the registration database.

YOUTH LEAGUE CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SPECTATORS & PARENTS
Most players (in particular children) participate in football activities for fun. They are not participating for the
entertainment of spectators and/or parents only. The following Code of Conduct applies to all Parents and
Spectators in attendance at youth football league matches.
1. Applaud good performance and efforts by all players. When watching a game congratulate both team
upon their performance regardless of the game’s outcome.
2. Never ridicule or scold a player for making a mistake during a game. Positive comments are
motivational.
3. Show respect for your team’s coach, the referee, opponents and all other spectators and parents. Without
them there would be no game.
4. Encourage players to play according to the rules and the official decisions, and develop your own
knowledge of the rules.
5. Demonstrate appropriate social behaviour by not using foul language, and not harassing administrators,
coaches, players, referee’s all other spectators and parents. Condemn the use of violence at all times.
6. Teach your child that an honest effort is as important as victory, so that the result of each game is
accepted without undue disappointment.
7. If you disagree with the referee or coach, raise the issue courteously through the appropriate channels
rather than question their judgement and honesty in public.
8. Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from the game.
9. Recognise and respect the value and importance of administrators, coaches and referee’s. they give up
their time and resource to provide recreational activities for players and deserve your support.
10. Be a model of good sports behaviour for children to copy.
11. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person regardless of their age, gender, disability, sexual
orientation, marital status, ability, religion or belief, nationality, ethnic origin or colour.
For the avoidance of doubt, breaches of the Code of Conduct will include (but not limited to) the following:

Verbal or physical abuse of another person.
ii
Harassment of individuals or a group.
iii
Inappropriate questioning of referee’s decisions.
iv
Ridicule, baiting or uttering obscenities: and/or.
v
Engaging in behaviour that is not respectful to others.
