Note: WGSE indicated editorial changes in
ERC/DEC/(99)15 due to revision of
ECC/REC/(01)04 (document FM(16)017).
WGFM#85 considered the relevance of
maintaining MWS application in
ERC/DEC/(99)15; it is felt that there is a low
level of implementation of MWS application; on
the other hand, it is reported that there are PP
links in various CEPT countries.
WGFM is expecting further information from
WGSE and ETSI, before any final decision is
taken..See section 5.3.1 of WGFM#86 minutes
(FM(16)225).
5G Roadmap: The range 40.5-43.5 GHz is,

ECC#43 approved a revision of the Decision for
public consultation. Final approval is planned at
ECC#44 in March 2017.
ECC/DEC/(06)13 – ECC Decision of 1
December 2006 (amended 21 June 2013) on
the designation of the bands 880-915 MHz,
925-960 MHz, 1710-1785 MHz and 1805-1880
MHz for terrestrial IMT-2000/UMTS systems
5G Roadmap: ECC#43 decided to also verify
during the next review whether the LRTC are
‘5G compatible’.
ECC/DEC/(07)01 – ECC Decision of 30 March
2007 on specific Material Sensing devices
using Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology.

ECC/DEC/(07)02 – ECC Decision of 30 March
2007 on availability of frequency bands
between 3400-3800 MHz for the harmonised
implementation of Broadband Wireless Access
systems (BWA)
ECC#35 (November 2013) agreed to keep
ECC Decision (07)02 and ECC
Recommendation (04)05 in force for the time
being, but this should be reconsidered in few
years. It is recognised that at the later stage
this Decision could be combined with the
amended ECC/DEC(11)06 and
ECC/REC(04)05.
