WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE OF PSYCHOSIS
STUDY RECRUITMENT
INCLUSION CRITERIA
 Current patients at MHSCT or GMW
 Black African OR African-Caribbean background
(includes ‘Black British’ or of ‘Mixed’ heritage)
 Presence of psychosis (referral and case notes)
 Aged 18+ years
 Sufficient understanding of English language to
complete measures
 Capacity to give informed consent
 Under the care of a key worker/care coordinator
 Provision of risk assessment by care coordinator/key
worker.
EXCLUSION CRITERIA
 Significant cognitive impairment implicated in
aetiology (e.g. organic disorder)
 High risk to self or others identified through risk
assessment undertaken by care team
