Dear Baseball Players, Parents, Teachers, Therapists and Guardians:
ORANGE LITTLE LEAGUE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE START UP OF A CHALLENGER LEAGUE AND ARE LOOKING
FOR INTERESTED PLAYERS AGES 6-18 TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DIVISION 2017
WHAT IS A CHALLENGER DIVISION?
It is a separate division of little league to enable boys & girls with physical and mental challenges to enjoy the
game of baseball. Teams are set up according to abilities rather than age. It is all about fun and participating in
physical activities. We will have Buddies to assist and play on a team with.
WHERE & WHEN?
We will play at Old Tavern Fields in Orange and Season is Spring and 1 day practice during week and 1 game on
weekends for about 6 weeks. We’d like to gather in winter 1 or 2 times for “Spring Training”.
Registered Little League players will assist as buddies.
Orange Little League Challenger Division is open to anyone that lives or attends any school in the Orange,
Woodbridge or Bethany area including all Amity Schools or neighboring towns that don’t already have a
Challenger League.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO?
The league registration fee for Challenger division is $50.00. OLL has never prevented a player (whether in
Challenger or the regular divisions) from playing if the fee created a hardship. If you need assistance with the fee
please contact us at [email protected] . OLL will do its best to defray the costs of the program for Challenger
players whose family cannot afford the registration fee.
