Purpose
Defines how to approve, identify, label, distribute and trace
HL-LHC documentation, both baseline and non-baseline.
WPE Role
Typically the WPE is authorized to approve non-baseline
documentation.

related to this process
Purpose
Defines how to create a new HL-LHC document or
modification of an existing HL-LHC document on EDMS
on an HL-LHC WP Workspace.
WPE & WPL Roles
The procedure is applicable to all HL-LHC WP Members,
and the main responsibility of the WPL is to ensure that all
WPEs and collaborators know and follow the established
procedure.
HL Deviations

HL-LHC Template Deviation Request
1506726
EDMS
1506723
Purpose
Defines how to request a modification in the baseline, in
terms of requirements, scope, costs and/or schedule
WPE Role
Typically WPE is the one who will prepare the request for
deviation. Further actions will depend on the decision
taken
WPL Role
The WPL will assess the deviation and will decide,
together with the PO, if the deviation is acceptable or not.

Non Conformity

via MTF 1501109
EDMS
1499015
Purpose
Defines the process to be followed when a deviation is found,
and how to handle it.
WPE Role
The WPE will assess the grade of criticality of the nonconformity, the impact and also the proposed measurements to
be taken (if any) to close it.
WPL Role
The WPL will assess together with the WPE those nonconformities which have a relevant impact on the project (in
terms of budget, schedule…) or those ones that may require
additional means to be closed.

Purpose
Defines how an ECR has to be handle.
WPE Role
Typically WPE will be the responsible to launch the ECR.
WPL Role
WPL will assess the reasons for the change and the
potential impact.
