CLEAResult Closes Contract with Consumers Energy to Implement Additional
Residential Energy Efficiency Programs
CLEAResult to start driving design and consulting for Home Energy Analysis and
ENERGY STAR® Lighting and Appliances programs in 2015
AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 25, 2015) — CLEAResult, a leader in designing and
implementing technology-enabled energy efficiency programs for utilities, governments,
schools and businesses, today announced it has finalized a new contract for
Consumers Energy’s Home Energy Analysis and ENERGY STAR® Lighting and
Appliances programs, significantly expanding the company’s existing portfolio with one
of the nation’s largest combination utilities.
Under this new contract, CLEAResult will provide comprehensive to-market
implementation design and strategy to help drive impacts on Consumers Energy’s
residential energy savings goals from 2015 through 2017. CLEAResult has worked with
Consumers Energy since 2009 to implement its Income-Qualified Energy Efficiency
Assistance Program and since 2012 to implement their New Home Construction
Program. By employing transformative program design, customer service and marketing
approaches, these programs have grown to provide meaningful and long-lasting support
of Consumers Energy’s promise to help Michigan homes and businesses save energy.

CLEAResult began its work with Consumers Energy in 2009, generating a major impact
on the company’s residential energy efficiency portfolio through effective program
design strategy. As a result of its efforts, CLEAResult delivered various energy
efficiency solutions to high risk customers by tailoring programs to each individual’s
needs, facilitating cost savings and increasing home comfort. Energy efficiency services
provided through the programs included insulation, air sealing and carbon monoxide
detection, all free of charge.
