TOURNAMENT FOR »RUŠE 2011« CUP
S.K.I. Federation of Slovenia is organizing the 34th Traditional International S.K.I. karate-do tournament for
»RUŠE 2011« Cup. is organizing the tournament already 34th year in a row.
The tournament represents an important test for competitors in the beginning of competition season 2011 and
especially for those who will take part on the upcoming SKIF European Championship in May 2011 in
Hungary.

QUALIFICATION:
Competition in kata individual passes according to above categories.
- KOHAKU SISTEMU (flags) as follows:
- gropus: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1,C2, D1, D2, E1, E2, F1, F2, G1, G2, H1,H2, I1, J1: mandatory kata:
TAIKYOKU-SHODAN, HEIAN-SHODAN, HEIAN-NIDAN, HEIAN-SANDAN, HEIAN-YONDAN,HEIANGODAN, TEKKI-SHODAN – according to belt level
- groups: I2, J2 – mandatory kata: BASSAI-DAI, JION, EMPI, KANKU-DAI – SHITEI kate
- groups: K1, K2, K3: TOKUI kata according to belt level
KOHAKU SISTEM goes until the best 4 competitors.


FINALS
All competitors perform TOKUI kata in the finals. They can repeat the same kata they performed in
qualifications.
 The ranging from 5 to 8th place will be decided according to the ranging of the first 4.
 Groups can be joined in case of small number of competitors in a group.
 Competitors of certain age can compete in two categories.
YIJU KUMITE:
12. BOYS (born in 1997 and younger – until 14 years)
Categories:
L1: - 45 kg.
L2: -55 kg.
L3: +55kg
13. GIRLS (born in 1997 and younger – until 14 years)
Categories: M1: - 50 kg
M2: +50 kg
14. CADET BOYS (born in 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994 - 13 to 17 years)
Categories:
N1: - 60 kg.
N2: + 60 kg.
15. CADET GIRLS (born in 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994 –13 to 17 years)
Categories:
O1: - 55 kg.
O2: + 55 kg.
16. WOMEN (born in 1994 and older – from 17 years)
Categories:
P1: - 60 kg
P2: + 60 kg
16. MEN (born in 1994 and older – from 17 years)
Categories:
R1: - 75 kg.
R2: + 75 kg
17. MASTER (born in 1976 and older – over 35 years)

Competitors of certain age can compete in two categories.
Groups can be joined in case of small number of competitors in a group or each person fights each.
Kumite passes for 2 minutes, IPPON-HAN-SHOBU (until 3 wazaries or 1 ippon and 1 wazari), maximum 2
extensions. All positive and negative points go into the first extension; the second extension begins from zero.
After the second extension judges must announce a winner.
All competitors in kumite must wear teeth protectors and S.K.I.F. standard white gloves; men a groin
protector, women chest protector. All other protection gear is not allowed.
There is a fight for 3rd and 4th place.

Competition in kata and kumite passes according to S.K.I.F. and S.K.I. Federation of Slovenia rules.

OTHER INFORMATION:

S.K.I. Federation of Slovenia appoints the judges and referees. Each team can bring a referee, but he/she must
have a S.K.I.F. license. Chief referee appoints the final team of judges and referees, they all must wear a
uniform.
 The number of competitors is not limited.
Competitors compete on their on responsibility. We recommend medical insurance and medical examination.
The draw will be executed after the application dead line according to the alphabetical order of club/team
location.

AWARDS:
The best 3 in each category receive medals and diplomas, the winner a cup and the winning team receives a
winning 34th »RUŠE 2011« Cup.
