AMS II Water Meter Test Bench
The Ford Meter Box Company introduces our
second generation Automated Measuring System
(AMS) Test Bench. Whether installing with a new
test bench or applying the AMS to an existing
bench using a retro-fit kit, the AMS Test Bench is
the most advanced Meter Testing Bench available.
In addition to automating the manual tasks of
securing meters and purging air from the system,
the upgraded computer allows for a greater range of
flow options while testing meters. During tests, the
AMS monitors the flow of water and automatically
halts the system when the test is complete or the
tank is full. For longer, multi-station benches, the
touchscreen computer slides along an aluminum
rail allowing easy data entry of the meter readings.
When testing is complete, the open source OPC
server allows electronic data downloads from the
bench for customized output of reports.
