Re: Breakfast Club
We are pleased to announce that the Breakfast Club will be returning to Greenbriar! It will begin
Monday October 31st/2016. It will be held in the gym, by the canteen doors on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:45-8:10am.
Greenbriar’s Breakfast Club will adhere to the following “Student Nutrition Program”
Guidelines to ensure our students are served a healthy and nutritious breakfast.
Fruits & Vegetables: We will include whole fruits and vegetables as much as possible.
Grain Products: We will be serving whole grain or whole wheat items, and limiting the amount
of sugar per serving to only 8 grams in Granola Bars, Cereals, and Baked Goods.
Dairy Products: We will offer yogurts with a reduced sugar content.
Meat & Alternatives: We will not be serving Deli Meats or cured meats.
At Greenrbiar, Breakfast club is open to all students free of cost. However, we would gladly
accept donations of the items below.
Acceptable Donations( Following The Nutrition Guidelines)

Plastic Cutlery and/or plastic cups
Cereal Boxes
Muffin Mixes
Granola Bars
Crackers
Apple sauce
*Please, ensure your food donations are peanut free.*
In November, our breakfast menu will include different combinations of : oranges, grapes, celery
and carrot sticks, bagels, muffins and granola bars, yogurt, cheese strings, juices and apple sauce.
We look forward to welcoming all Greenbriar students!
