Win a Car™ Competition – Conditions of Participation in Free Prize Draw

Unless you are resident in Northern Ireland (where no valid (proof of) purchase is necessary),
participation in the competition requires a valid (proof of) purchase of an OSRAM LED bulb (that is
part of this offer), but does not require the payment of any registration fee. A maximum of 10 entry
forms can be submitted per day and per participant (one entry per OSRAM bulb purchase).
Only one email address may be used per participant. The organiser withholds the right to block
accounts or participants upon suspicion of an infringement against these participation conditions. A
telephone number or numbers may also be provided.
The Draw and Prize Claim:
The participant will be notified via email or telephone after they have entered whether theirs is a winning
entry. Within 30 business days the results will be counted, verified and the winner will be randomly
selected and then contacted by a representative of OSRAM detailing exactly how to claim their prize. The
prize must be claimed within 14 business days after being contacted by OSRAM; otherwise the winner
loses its claim to win. The winner may be asked to take part in OSRAM public activity such as social media
or PR. The winner has the right to refuse.
Please retain your store or online receipt as proof and confirmation of your winning purchase.
Should any of the pre-determined winners not be responsive within the allotted claim period to
claim their prizes, another prize draw will take place at the end of the claim period for all registered
non-winning competition participants.
Prize Details:
The prize will be a Vauxhall Adam Jam 1.2 70ps and features the standard model specification,
including 16” alloy wheels, Air Con, USB, Aux In, Digital radio, Bluetooth, trip computer and cruise
control, as well as the following additional options: Saturday White Fever Paint and Urban Pack. This
vehicle will come with the standard 3 year warranty. Specific details on this warranty can be found

The prize cannot be substituted for cash but will be substituted for another alternative car prize of
equal value and similar spec should the car be recalled or not be in stock due to manufacturer issues.
1. Start and end of the prize draw registration
The competition starts on 26th December 2014 [at 00:01hrs UK time] and ends on 28th February 2015
[23:59hrs UK time].
2. Eligibility requirements
To take part in the prize draw registration, you must be over 18 and must complete the registration
form available online at osram.co.uk/winacar which will require each participant to confirm that he
or she has read, understood and accepted the conditions of participation.
3. Persons eligible to participate
All persons over the age of 18 years of age, who are a resident and purchase an OSRAM LED bulb in
England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, are eligible to take part. Participants who do not
fulfil these criteria have no legal claim to the prize.
Employees of OSRAM, its partner companies and appointed agencies, and relatives of such
employees are excluded from participating in this competition.
Participation via prize draw associations, automated services and other service providers is excluded.
OSRAM reserves the right to exclude individuals whom OSRAM reasonably believes have tried to
benefit from manipulating the prize draw.
In such cases, prizes can be withdrawn retroactively by OSRAM and/or reclaimed.
No competition participant can win more than one of the available prizes during the competition
period.
4. Promotional registration details and procedure
Each registration form is counted as an entry and will be entered into our free prize draws at the end
of the competition. Participants will discover whether they have been successful once the draw is
completed. The registration forms must be completed in full to be considered valid.
5. Fundamentals
The prize is not transferable and a cash alternative cannot be claimed. OSRAM disclaims any liability
in respect of unclaimed prizes to the full extent of the law. OSRAM withholds the right to replace the
prize with a similar prize of equivalent value.
For participation in the competition, it is a requirement that the personal details registered
correspond to your actual details. OSRAM reserves the right to ask for further information to clarify
that details already provided are accurate.
6. Breach of participation conditions
In the event that a participant breaches the participation conditions or makes an intentional or
unintentional misrepresentation regarding the prerequisites for participation, OSRAM withholds the right
to exclude the respective persons from the competition. Persons using forbidden resources or using
manipulative means to gain advantage will be excluded. Should the situation arise, in such cases prize
allocation can also be nullified retrospectively and any prizes awarded may be reclaimed.
7. Limitation of liability
OSRAM shall not be liable for any errors, delays or interruptions in data transfer, disruptions of the
technical facilities and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data and/or viruses.
8. Premature termination of the competition
OSRAM withholds the right to abort or terminate the competition at any time in its absolute
discretion. This applies including, without limitation, for cases which as a result of technical reasons
– eg. infection of computer system with a virus, manipulation or error in hard- and/or software or
due to legal reasons, hinder, influence or make impossible a proper execution of the competition.
OSRAM assumes no liability for neglected or missed winning chances. In the event of a termination
arising from technical reasons or for legal reasons arising from the behaviour of a participant,
OSRAM is entitled to seek corresponding compensation for damages.
9. Subject to change
OSRAM withholds the right to change or amend at any time the participation conditions, if it feels
that this is necessary, for example in as far as it may be necessary to ensure the simple and fair
execution of the prize draw and to prevent malpractice, or other reasons. Prize images are used for
display/artwork purposes only.
10. Privacy notice
Subject to the provisions below, your data will be deleted once the prize draw registration is over, in
so far as you have not requested information on OSRAM GmbH products or competitions or those of
other companies of the OSRAM concern and affiliates.
Each participant may request that OSRAM deletes his or her data at any time by sending an email to
[email protected]
If your data is deleted before the end of the prize draw registration, participation will no longer be
possible. If you request your data to be deleted after becoming the winner, the further provisions of this
clause will apply.
OSRAM will not pass on your personal data to third parties except to OSRAM affiliates, insofar as you
have given your consent to receive ‘Marketing information’ and to be contacted for advertising
purposes.
However, please note that should you become the winner of any prize, OSRAM is required in accordance
with The UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing to make available on
request the name and county of major prize winners and, if applicable, their winning entries.
You have the option to request information about your personal data being stored at any time or
you can withdraw your consent to your data being passed on to third parties. At your request we will
delete your personal data at any time.
