Plants By Kenadee and Savannah Date:2-22-17 Leaves catch energy from sunlight and use it to turn water and carbon dioxide from the air into the food for the plant. stem the stem support the plant and plants plumbing system conducting water and nutrients from the Roots and food in the form of glucose from the leaves to other plant part. seed they first grow roots and once these roots take hold, a small plant will begin to emerge and eventually break through the soil. Roots help to anchor the plant in soil so it does not fall over. Chlorophyll is essentially Plant blood and does wonders for the human body and it is food for the plant and it makes carbon dioxide and that makes it green and makes it grow. Photosynthesis is the process of the plant making it's food That process is carbon dioxide , water and air. An evergreen tree is one that keeps it’s leaves all year around, most conifer trees are evergreen. Shedding the leaves annual as certain trees and shrubs… falling off or shed at a particular stage of growth because the trees shed their leaves every season and grow. The function of the stomata is to allow water vapor and gases to pass in and out of the leaf. The stomata are also responsible for the process of transpiration, the rate at which a plant loses leaves. The animals and the plants are alike because they are both alive.they are different because one moves around and the other one stays in the ground. Hope you enjoyed our presentation!!!
